Castro Valley, CA – (January 28, 2021) – At last night’s board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education unanimously appointed Mrs. Charity Hastings to the position of Director of Purchasing & Warehouse. Mrs. Hastings will be responsible for the oversight of the purchasing, distribution, and contractual procedures and practices of the District.
Thank you for your patience, perseverance and tremendous efforts to support students and each other. We are encouraged by the continued downward trend in COVID-19 cases in our County. Our ability to welcome back more students to our schools and classrooms depends on everyone remaining vigilant and following guidelines such as mask wearing, washing of hands and physical distancing.
